Sansiri projects increased

Property firm Sansiri has inflated its business plans for this year by announcing its intention to add eight new residential projects to 11 already launched in 2009, making a total of 19 for the year, with a market value of Bt23.5 billion.

Its original plan was to launch only 16 projects worth Bt20 billion this year. The increase comes following presales of Bt9.2 billion in the first half.

“We believe demand for residential projects is recovering,” said presiฌdent Srettha Thavisin.

“That is confirmed by our pre-sales in the first half of this year: Bt6.1 bilฌlion in the first quarter and Bt3.1 billion in the second.”
